Overview

It’s knowing the part you’ve played in delivering exceptional events

It’s the sheer variety of challenges you’ll face. And it’s presenting ceremonial activities that are enjoyed and valued by millions. This is what makes working for the Royal Household so different.

The Lord Chamberlain’s Office manages a broad range of official, ceremonial events throughout the year.

Joining this dedicated team, you’ll help organise and deliver some truly unique occasions, including Investitures, Garden Parties and State occasions.

Liaising with colleagues and external official bodies, you’ll assist with the detailed research and planning of events.

You’ll be at the heart of our activities working alongside our operational teams on the day to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard.

Handling all the administration behind the events will play a big part in your role. You’ll also provide daily support to the wider team, from diary management and coordinating travel, to website updates.

Keeping up with a busy schedule will be critical. The standards you’ll aim for will provide the biggest challenge, and the greatest reward.
